Curious in nature, filmmaking allows me to engage with an endless variety of life's facets and complexities.
Born in Tokyo, later grew up in Innsbruck, Austria. Love working with analog film. I enjoy exploring new terrain and am not averse to any audiovisual narrative form. However, I can use my knowledge and experience most effectively in documentary film. More often than not I work together with my partner in crime and fellow cinematographer Tamara Diepold.
Based in Vienna, working worldwide
Good to know: My position on a production counts as a Südtirol-Effekt for the IDM Film Fund and is relevant for Austrian fundings as well.
